The cave is located on the SW side of Mt Jouktas, along with several other small caves and rock shelters. Below the cave there are traces of a LM to Rom settlement. A sping lies close by.

The cave has a complex plan but it basically consists of 2 chambers, the upper one being irregular and the lower one being narrow and deep.
