PG pottery was found at this site. No architectural remains dating to the PG period were found so far. Most probably a small settlement was located here. A Mycenaean pit grave was found 700 m NW of the mound, in the field of A. Bala at the modern village of Kypseli. The grave contained multiple burials furnished with 5 alabastra and a bead.
